FAQs
Bouquets of flowers
What do you mean by “florist’s choice” bouquets?
The seasonal bouquet – florist's choice gives us the chance to make flower bouquets with seasonal flowers and foliage that are only available at certain times of the year.
The flowers and colors of this bouquet will be chosen according to availability in store. It is impossible to specify the varieties of flowers and colors that will be used because it will depend on the season and the inspiration of the moment.
Let yourself be tempted by the florist's seasonal bouquet of choice for its spring flowers, its more summery flowers or those in the fall. We make an effort to always source local and seasonal flowers to meet this demand. As flower lovers, we are really keen to use seasonal flowers which are so beautiful.
Bouquet worked with vaporous foliage such as eucalyptus and other seasonal foliage.
All our bouquets are created with all the passion for their profession from our team of floral designers.
I want to come pick up a bouquet, but I have other errands to do, what should I do?
The bouquet can last a good hour without water.
If your flower bouquet has been a little tested by commissions a little longer than expected, we suggest that you cut your stems at an angle and put them in water a little more lukewarm than cold. Thus, the flower vessels will open and allow the stem to drink well and rehydrate.
Can I select my own flowers to make a bouquet?
Yes, absolutely, you can tell us your preferences, but we always have new arrivals and seasonal flowers in our fridges and we have the eye to be able to create a bouquet that will meet your needs according to the lines directives that will be given to us with our creative touch.
Flower care
How can I keep my flowers fresh longer?
We suggest cutting the stems at a 1 cm bevel every 2 days. And change the water regularly. Temperate water.
Also make sure there are no leaves in the water.
Avoid placing the flowers near a heat source, the flowers will open more quickly and this could also increase the proliferation of bacteria in the water.
All these little tips will allow you to extend the life of your flowers by a few days.
We are not fond of small sachets of additives to put in the water. Some suggest adding water, a little 7-up and a few drops of bleach. Others use crushed aspirin in water, but the water should be changed regularly regardless.
What is the average duration of natural flowers?
That's a very good question. Flowers have very different lifespans. We like to say that our books evolve over time.
Some flowers can last 3 to 5 days, like peonies or lilacs. Most have a lifespan of about a week and we also have flowers that can last 2-3 weeks. Yes yes!
We can gradually remove the flowers at the end of their life from the bouquet and continue to see our floral composition evolve over the following days. This is the beauty of nature!
How do I dry my natural flowers?
Not all varieties of flowers dry well. Some lose their petals and the color is regularly changed. For flowers that dry well, such as roses, gypsophila or eucalyptus, it is recommended to dry them upside down in a dry place. It will only take a few days and your head will be straight.

Funeral / Bereavement
I am a close family member
Generally, it is the immediate family who offers the main piece, either an urn display or a coffin cushion . The display is the arrangement of flowers on which the urn is placed or which accompanies it. The coffin cushion is the flower arrangement that is placed on the coffin. There are endless possibilities for creating the perfect arrangement. Traditional or stylish? Neutral or colorful? Up or lying down? Take the time to talk with the florist to find the arrangement that will best honor the person who has passed away.
I am one of the other members of the family
Traditionally, an arrangement is sent to the funeral home. But it is also possible to send a beautiful bouquet of flowers home to our friends and loved ones who are going through a difficult time.
The funeral arrangement (formerly called a funeral basket) will be placed near the coffin or urn on podiums.
You can also send a garden of plants, a beautiful green plant, an eternal rose, a bouquet tied in a clear vase or even synthetic arrangements that people can take home. Several options are possible.
Ask for advice and we will be happy to help you make the best choice.

How much should I budget for sending flowers to the funeral home, how much does it start at?
The base price of our funeral arrangements starts at $75. Whether for bouquets of flowers, funeral arrangements or plant assembly.
For urn displays and coffin cushions, the assembly is more elaborate so the cost can vary between $125 (very small assembly) and $500 for a more elaborate assembly.
How far in advance should you plan to choose flowers?
We are aware that funerals are organized quickly. Ideally, a week in advance to choose main flowers (casket cushion or urn display) allows for better flower selection. Otherwise, we can choose with the flowers available in the fridge.
Can flowers be sent to the family at home instead of to the funeral home?
Yes, many customers prefer to send a bouquet of flowers with a small personalized card directly to their home.
Otherwise, delivery to the funeral home remains an attractive option.
Can we send plants instead of flowers?
Yes, more and more, people send plants for mourning because the plant remains a beautiful memory for the family. Different options are also possible, whether eternal roses or arrangements of dry or permanent flowers.
